More than 5,000 residences will be built in Parrish, Manatee County, Florida

The neighborhood of Parrish has been developed for over 30 years but this process has now accelerated considerably. According to a weekly project report by the Development Services of the Manatee County Government, over 5,000 new homes will be built in seven residential projects within this community, which are currently at various stages of approval.

Housing availability will improve in the following complexes:

  • Firethorn, a planned development, where 1,540 residences will be built on the area of 2.2 sq km
  • Phases 2 – 4 of Prosperity Lakes development include 703 single-family houses
  • 532 lots will be developed in Buckhead Trails
  • Phase 2 of the Rye Ranch residential project will include 450 single-family houses and infrastructure facilities. Last June, the Manatee County Commission approved plans of building 3,500 new homes and up to 28,000 sq m of commercial properties here
