PricewaterhouseCoopers is opening a new office in Florida

The world-famous consulting and audit firm is opening a new office in the Sunshine State. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) signed a nine-year lease contract for the entire 38,409 square feet on the 8th floor of a 10-story office building in Wynwood, Miami. This trendy district famous for its colorful murals by contemporary artists and buzzing nightlife has been increasingly attracting corporate tenants of office spaces.

The mixed-use commercial property with the total floor area of over 499,370 square feet was completed last year. The developer is Sterling Bay based in Chicago. 298,000 square feet is leased for offices, while the remaining space is dedicated to ground-floor retail outlets and parking.

The current tenants include global architectural firm Gensler, Slalom Consulting, legal firm Actuate Law, medical equipment manufacturer Neocis, and Love Life Café. PricewaterhouseCoopers is planning to move to its new office next summer.

This decision by the consulting giant evidences that not only residential but also commercial properties in Florida are becoming increasingly popular among tenants. A few promising tech companies, such as Blockchain.com and OpenStore, have already relocated to Wynwood, Miami, over the past couple of years.
