Several properties are planned for construction in Florida to replace an opulent mansion worth $23 million

A luxurious mansion (the largest in South Tampa) sprawling across over 2,000 sq m was built by Derek Jeter, a baseball star. The construction cost $7.7 million. This property was sold for $22.5 million in 2021.

The oceanfront house is located on Davis Islands and has access to a bay, where a place for berthing and lifting two yachts is equipped. There is a swimming pool area with loungers on the grounds, which is on a par with high-end resorts.

The interiors are just as luxurious as the abovementioned amenities – marble floors, winding staircases, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ocean… The spacious lobby in the center of the house is furnished with elegant furniture. It also has a stone fireplace and an aquarium built into the wall. For owners’ and guests’ convenience, there are 16 bathrooms in the mansion, several lounge areas, including one on a patio, and a clubroom with a bar, a billiards table, TV sets, and card-playing tables. The study is finished in a classic style and wood-paneled. The professional gym contains all the necessary equipment for a hearty workout session. Six vehicles can fit into the garage.

This piece of paradise was listed for sale in 2020 for an incredible $29 million but the buyers were able to bid the price down a little. New owners are now planning to demolish the mansion and build two – three properties on this land plot instead.
