A Spanish-style estate in Florida has become the most popular listed property in the USA

An opulent estate in Dade City, Pasco County, Florida, has become the most popular residential property in the USA listed for sale on the Realtor.com® platform. The asking price is $19 million.

The huge land plot spanning over 810,000 square meters accommodates a spacious mansion custom-designed for the previous owner, Thomas Johnson. Mr. Johnson, founder of Global Imaging Systems headquartered in Tampa, spent almost three years to build his “dream home” with a floor area of 900 square metres.

The five-bedroom mansion is crafted in the Spanish style and reminds a classic hacienda with a red tiled roof, abode-clay blocks, gypsum stucco, ironwork, elegant arches, and exquisite wooden elements made to order. Indoors, custom-designed cabinets, separate dressing rooms adjacent to bedrooms, and walk-in shower areas are provided for residents’ utmost convenience.

There are also several utility buildings on premises and a lagoon-shaped swimming pool amidst palm trees with an artificial waterfall.
