Along with population growth, the number of hospitals is increasing in Florida

According to experts, in 2023, the area of hospital construction in Florida increased by 64% to more than 836 m2. The cost of financing the construction of medical institutions increased by 125% to $1.15 billion.

Jacksonville leads the state in the number of hospitals started, both in dollar value and in area. Southeast Florida is just behind. At the national level, the corresponding trend is also present, but not on such a serious scale as in Florida. In total, hospital construction in the United States increased by 24% in area and by 26% in financial terms.

Experts note: due to the growing population of Florida, there is a need for innovative and diverse offers in the field of healthcare.
