Most interesting events in the Florida real estate market last week

Kushner and AIMCO announced construction of the tallest tower in Fort Lauderdale

Kushner and AIMCO publicized their plans of building the tallest tower in Fort Lauderdale as the second stage of the companies’ joint project on West Broward Boulevard. The 174.3-meter 48-story building will be situated on a 1.1-acre site at 200 W Broward Blvd.

Upon completion of construction, the property with a total floor area of over 57,000 m2 will feature 381 apartments, almost 700 m2 of commercial space, and 434 parking spaces. Future residents and visitors of the tower will have access to a wide selection of amenities, including two swimming pools.

Savanna is planning to build an apartment block in West Palm Beach

Savanna (New York) publicized the plans of a new residential development comprised of three apartment towers in West Palm Beach. They will be located at 1919 N Flagler Dr. Upon completion of construction, Olara Residences will offer 315 condominiums and 170 apartments. Amenities such as swimming pools, a gym, a seafront restaurant, a lounge area, co-working spaces, and a boat marina, will occupy over 6,500 m2.

Representatives of Merrimac Ventures announced construction of a 30-story tower in Fort Lauderdale

The developer Merrimac Ventures announced construction of a 30-story residential project in Flagler Village neighborhood in Fort Lauderdale. It will replace a one-story commercial building at 407-421 N Andrews Ave.

After the Arts Park Lofts tower is completed, it will feature 289 apartments, over 175 m2 of commercial space, a swimming pool, and 359 parking spaces on 36,800 m2.

The Bezos family is buying two houses in Coral Gables

A company associated with the family of Jeff Bezos, the billionaire founder of Amazon, purchased two neighboring mansions in Coral Gables.

Raul Calvoz, the former CEO of PetsMD, and his wife Raquel Cordon sold a 1,100 m2 house at 9475 Journeys End Road for USD 34 million to Forgotten Foundation LLC which is linked to Bezos Family Foundation in Mercer Island, Washington. The Foundation was established by Jeff Bezos’ parents, Miguel “Mike” and Jacklyn “Jackie” Bezos.
