According to experts, yacht lovers and lovers of luxury real estate are the same people.
There are not many places in the USA that can compare with Florida for lovers of luxury yachting. The state has a whopping over 13 km of coastline: from the Atlantic Ocean coast and the Persian Gulf, second only to Alaska with over 54 km of Pacific and Arctic coastline.
Every year, wealthy people and their families come to Florida from all over the world to moor in the aquamarine waters of the state. Many yachtsmen are focused on long-term investments in luxury real estate in Florida. Some wealthy buyers can choose between investing in a yacht and real estate separately. However, experts say: most owners of luxury real estate on the coast have yachts.
Realtors working in Southwest Florida should be well aware of the difference between direct access to the bay, when a yacht does not need to pass under bridges to enter the Gulf of Mexico, and indirect access, when a vessel still has to pass under bridges. It was found that direct access to the bay significantly affects the decision-making by clients regarding the purchase of luxury real estate.
